Hold my hand, my love

intertwined fingers
so much in love

A romantic at heart - Togetherness

Work beckons and I rush to catch the next flight. As I age, the longing for my better-half does get the better of me. Somehow, though the passion to travel exists, a question does come forth. Traveling alone, is it still as exciting as it was?

Perhaps not. A companion is always welcome in journeys that span days. And togetherness is something we get used to, at times take for granted, don't we?

With my travel schedule being how it is, I have begun to treasure the moments of togetherness, with friends and family.

As a photographer in the research field, it is my job to observe people and it brings forth inferences at two levels. One, as I watch people and realize what could be going through their minds, whilst my fingers keep clicking away. The second level comes in during the photo-processing phase, when you begin to realize that there is more to it than meets the eye. What had been hidded, or perhaps not noticed at first glance begins to reveal itself.

In this series, Togetherness, perhaps reveals my inherent subconsious need to have my partner with me, then, there. (Do I see a Freud somewhere:). Togetherness pics!
Finishing note - Somehow, when we look at love, longing, togetherness - we mentally start thinking in Sepia and Black&White. And the pictures reveal themselves better without the color-clutter. That is what I have done with this series.
